Rather vague commitments at Rio+20 & some quotes from our open space

In: Live Green + Clean

We won’t judge the UN Summit, as we have not been there, but the media seems to reflect that it was rather vague commitments and blah blah … Here, you can find some impressions of the Peoples Summit. Meanwhile, we continued our open space, here some quotes:

“Happiness cannot be universalised. Especially, it shouldn’t be instrumentalised by the UN as an indicator to hide social injustice.”

“It would make more sense to work for a year in Rio and develop long lasting projects than to meet with all NGOs for two days and shake hands!”

“One core element of solidarity economy is to disentangle cost and benefit”
